Heading for the Hockey Carnival
Zachary (Year 8) was selected for Hockey Victoria’s U13 state squad and represented Victoria at the Australian National U13 Hockey Carnival in Newcastle in late September. Zachary has had a tremendous year in hockey so far, having represented the Eastern Metro Hotshots team at the Junior State Championships in July. Subsequently, he was selected into the Hockey Victoria High Performance Academy. We wish Zachary all the very best.
Diving in
Blake (Year 12) and Henry (Year 8) have represented Victoria at the School Sport Australia Diving Championships. Blake was appointed Captain of Victoria and won bronze in the platform competition, despite nursing an ankle injury incurred while playing rugby. Henry narrowly missed out on a bronze medal of his own. Congratulations to both athletes.
