International applications

Haileybury has a limited number of international student positions (Subclass 500 Student visa) available for entry into Year 10 at Haileybury’s Keysborough campus. International students are not able to attend Haileybury’s Berwick, Brighton or City campuses.

Haileybury does not offer boarding or homestay accommodation arrangements for international students. Students applying for international enrolments at Haileybury will be required to provide their preferred accommodation/welfare arrangements –

1. Student will be accompanied by their Parent/s who will obtain a visa type which complies with the Migration Regulations 1994.
2. Student will be in the care of a nominated relative appointed by the Parent/s to maintain the welfare and accommodation of the student, and who is approved by the Department of Home Affairs

Haileybury cannot accept applications from any prospective student transferring from another registered provider within the first six months of study unless the student has obtained a letter of release from their current school.

Applications for transfer from other schools are generally not accepted; however, may be considered at the discretion of Haileybury.

Entry into Haileybury is via the school's waitlist. Completing an Application for Enrolment will add the student to our waitlist but does not guarantee an offer of enrolment. Before completing an Application for Enrolment please read the International Business Notice.

Enrolments for entry in 2025 are in the final stages and new applications for this entry year will not be considered. For Year 10, 2026 enrolments, please revisit our website in 2025 for further information.

When completing an Application for Enrolment you will need to provide copies of the following documentation for the student:

• birth certificate
• passport
• recent Australian Education and Assessment (AEAS) test results
• two recent school reports (translated into English)
• Visa (if applicable)
• Two written Character reference letters from current teachers
