Our student stories

Haileybury Pangea students continue to make the most of their independence and flexibility so they can pursue their passions beyond the curriculum:

  • Clancy Westaway (Year 10) was selected by Football Victoria as a flagbearer for the FIFA Women’s World Cup
  • Devanjana Rajesh (Year 7) will undertake a five-week intensive musicianship program in the USA
  • Tiarni Goode (Year 9) has recently graduated from the Zoos Victoria Youth Leadership Program
  • Campbell Dovison (Year 12) has been selected for the U17 soccer team for the Asian Cup in Thailand
  • Milo Botterill (Year 9) will represent Australia in the World Junior Snowboard Championships in NZ in September

We love to hear the stories of our students and encourage all families to get in touch with us to share their adventures and achievements.

Clancy Westaway
(Year 10) balances her studies and soccer training with a part-time job as a referee with Football Victoria.

Tiarni Goode (Year 9) graduated from the Zoos Victoria Youth Leadership Program, which culminated in a presentation of students’ research findings.

Macarons and movies for Languages Week 2023

The final week of Term 2 brought special celebrations as part of Languages Week with activities led by Madame Adelaide Swift-Brown. Highlights of the week included languages trivia, a French movie night, a macaron baking competition, dress-up day, and, of course, our Languages Week Assembly.

It was brilliant to see so many students get involved, whether they study a language or not, and we learned so much about our diverse backgrounds and the many languages spoken across the campus (yes, Mr Orton can speak more than un poco Español!). We thank Madame Swift-Brown for a wonderful week of activities.
